World Sexual Health Day 2025 – Walkathon

As part of the World Sexual Health Day 2025 celebrations, a Walkathon was organized at the iconic Marina Beach, Chennai, by the Indian Association for Sexology (IAS).

The event aimed to raise public awareness on the importance of sexual health, safe practices, and breaking the stigma around open discussions on sexuality and well-being.

The walkathon saw the enthusiastic participation of doctors, healthcare professionals, students, volunteers, and the general public, all walking together to spread the message that sexual health is an essential part of overall health and happiness.

• Engagement with the public to encourage open conversations on sexual health.
• Participation of experts and dignitaries, reinforcing the importance of community involvement in health education.
